You’ll want to make sure that the orthodontist you choose offers the type of treatment you want. It’s 2023! You shouldn’t be limited to one type of orthodontic treatment  

You wouldn’t want to begin the treatment process with an orthodontist who only offers traditional braces if you’re interested in a more advanced treatment option – like Invisalign® clear aligners, Damon® self-ligating braces, or gold braces.

Will you be able to start treatment  on your initial visit, or will you have to schedule a separate appointment some time in the future? If you’re inquiring about treatment for your child who’s in school, or you have to take time off of work to attend your first visit, you may want to ensure that your orthodontist offers Same Day Treatment.
