2. Visit Dr. Insoft and Dr. Hurst for a free smile exam, and pick your preferred treatment option.Â
3. If you choose braces, we’re a Same Day Orthodontist, which means you can have your braces placed on your first visit! If you choose Invisalign, we’ll take your Invisalign scans, and have your custom clear aligners created.

Yes. Depending on your orthodontic needs, Invisalign may be an alternative to adult braces. Invisalign uses a series of custom-made, removable aligners to gradually move your teeth. Dr. Insoft and Dr. Hurst will evaluate your teeth and bite to determine whether clear aligners can achieve the results you’re looking for or whether braces would be a better choice.
Absolutely. It’s common for teeth to shift after orthodontic treatment, particularly if retainers aren’t worn as recommended. If your teeth have moved since your first treatment, Dr. Insoft and Dr. Hurst can evaluate your current alignment and recommend the appropriate solution. Depending on the amount of movement, you may be a candidate for a new retainer, Invisalign touch-up treatment, or more comprehensive orthodontic treatment.
In many cases, yes. Adults often come to us with dental work that has been completed over the years, including crowns, bridges, implants, or other restorations. Having dental work doesn’t automatically rule out orthodontic treatment, but it does make an individualized evaluation especially important. With traditional braces, we recommend avoiding hard, sticky, or chewy foods that can damage brackets or wires. Dr. Insoft and Dr. Hurst will give you specific instructions for protecting your braces, and most patients quickly get used to eating with them. If you choose Invisalign, you can remove your aligners when eating, so there are fewer food restrictions.
