Your orthodontist consultation is free with us. We want to give you an honest, expert assessment of you or your child’s smile, so you can make the best decision for your family, with no pressure.
Before you visit us, you can fill out your new patient form online so we can get started right away when you arrive!
Here’s what happens at your first orthodontist appointment:
Your consultation and exam will take about 45 minutes to 1 hour total.
We never rush our patients, and we’ll ensure that you have time to ask questions, understand your options, and feel completely comfortable before moving forward.
You’ll be greeted by our friendly team when you arrive! We’ll give you a quick tour of the office, and get to know each other. We’ll take digital x-rays, photos, and a quick scan of your teeth to get the full picture of your smile. Our goal is to get to know both you and your smile.
You’ll meet your orthodontist, Dr. Insoft or Dr. Hurst! They’ll review your smile records, examine your teeth and bite, and discuss our findings. We’ll show you a digital model of your teeth, so you can see what’s going on under the surface too.
From here, we’ll walk you through your treatment options, chat about your goals, and finalize your personalized treatment plan.
Once you’ve decided on braces or Invisalign®, our new patient coordinator will review your insurance coverage, calculate your benefits, and create a flexible payment plan that fits your budget.
We’ll develop a plan with a down payment and monthly payments that meet your needs, through 0% interest, in-house financing (no credit check) or CareCredit financing.
If you’d like Same Day Braces, we’re happy to place your braces on your first visit! When you book your consultation, let us know that you’d like braces the same day as your consultation, and we’ll reserve the time for you.
With Invisalign, we’ll start the process on your first visit by taking your smile scan and sending it off for your custom aligners to be created. Once they’re designed and printed, we’ll schedule a quick 15-minute visit for you to pick up your aligners, try them on, and discuss what’s next.
